Specialist advisers expand with senior appointment

MHA Moore and Smalley, the specialist medical accountancy practice, has made a senior appointment at their Nottingham office.

 

Barbara Domanska will join MHA Moore and Smalley as a healthcare services senior manager having spent 21 years at accountants BDO as a medical services manager.

 

She will take on a portfolio of clients assisting will all aspects of medical accounting, as well as providing specialist advice on issues such as VAT and tax and annual certificates of pensionable profits.

 

She will also help with the management of MHA Moore and Smalley’s healthcare department and assist with the training and development of their East Midlands team to aid the firm’s future growth plans.

 

Nick Stevenson, healthcare services partner at MHA Moore and Smalley, said: ‘’Barbara has a wealth of experience and will be a trusted adviser to our clients. Her appointment further strengthens our senior team and her vast technical knowledge will help build on our reputation as expert’s in our field as we continue to look towards the future.’’

 

Barbara, from Hucknall, said: ‘’I firmly believe in the importance of having a specialist medical accountant and am aware that MHA Moore and Smalley is a recognised specialist in the field which is supported through their membership of AISMA. I hope that my past experience within the medical sector will help build on the firm’s reputation as specialists and will be of particular benefit to their clients.’’

 

Prior to her most recent role, Barbara has spent 7 years working for a smaller firm of medical accountants who are also members of AISMA and enjoys caravanning holidays with her family.
