A quiz night organised MHA Moore and Smalley’s Kendal Office has raised funds to support CancerCare.

Over 45 local professionals challenged their grey matter in the annual MHA Moore and Smalley quiz night held at The Villa at Levens. Teams from Handelsbanken, Barclays, Thomson, Hayton Winkley, Temple Heelis, Harrison Drury, Cumberland Building Society, Edwin Thompson and CancerCare all took part.

Temple Heelis were crowned champions on the night after beating off stiff competition; MHA Moore and Smalley’s team were worthy runners up.

More than £500 was raised on the night for the charity.

Richard Cogger from CancerCare said: “We would like to thank MHA Moore and Smalley for organising the quiz and to all the local businesses who took part. The support is very much appreciated and will help people and families affected by cancer in North Lancashire and South Cumbria.”

Colin Johnson, Partner at Moore and Smalley, said “We are grateful to everyone who took part in the quiz to raise money for such a valuable community cause.”
