PM Forum member promoted to director at Moore and Smalley

A PM Forum (www.pmforum.co.uk) member has secured a directorship at one of the North West’s fastest growing firms of accountants and business advisers.

Danny Houghton has been promoted to marketing and business development director at Moore and Smalley LLP, which has offices in Preston, Blackpool, Castle Donington, Kendal, Kirkby Lonsdale and Lancaster.

The 34-year-old, from Formby, in Merseyside, joined Moore and Smalley in 2003 as marketing manager, from Grant Thornton in Liverpool. During his tenure the firm has almost doubled its turnover from £5.1 million to £10 million.

Danny has recently overseen Moore and Smalley’s acquisition of Lonsdale & Partners, which saw the firm break the £10 million barrier.
