Brexit and the implications for business – a discussion focused on import processes, duty costs and VAT

January 23, 2019 @ 12:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Free

We are leaving the European Union on 29 March 2019. There is a real risk that we are so focused on the soap opera of negotiations within both the UK and EU, that we miss the opportunities that do exist to mitigate against the potential impact on doing business after we leave.

While we do not yet know what kind of Brexit we will have, the sheer range of tasks businesses should consider ahead of the departure date is worthy of attention.

Jonathan Main joined MHA Moore and Smalley as a partner in 2018. He is a chartered tax advisor and accredited mediator, who brings with him over thirty years of experience in indirect tax.

By the end of this private roundtable lunch event you will gain a better understanding of the implications that Brexit could have for your business, together with a range of potential solutions.
