Deborah Wood, BSc (Hons), FCA, Partner
Professional: Debbie joined the firm in January 1999 as resident partner in the Blackpool office to manage client services on the Fylde. She is currently head of the firm’s Accounting Services Department, providing a full selection of financial advisory services to a wide range of owner-managed businesses. She is also the partner responsible for the firm's specialist medical services department and is an executive member of The Association of Independent Specialist Medical Accountants (AISMA).
In June 2008 Debbie received the HealthInvestor Accountant of the Year Award on behalf of the Moore and Smalley Medical Team.
Debbie is currently the Company Secretary for St Johns Development Fund Ltd, a company managing the funding streams and expenditure in relation to the £2m redevelopment of St Johns, Blackpool Parish Church. She is also a former president and the current Treasurer of the North West Society of Chartered Accountants.
Personal: Debbie is married to Richard who she met through her involvement in the Rotaract movement. They have a daughter, Philippa, and a son Nathan. Debbie is in her last year of membership of Lytham Ladies Circle and would love to find time for her hobbies. Instead she acts as chauffeur to ensure the children get to all of their activities.
