Medical Services

The Moore and Smalley Medical Services team is headed up by partner Deborah Wood based at our Blackpool office.

The team  includes Senior Managers Paul Clare and Jean Kelly, Tax Consultant David Walker and Financial Planning Director Liz Hall. Supported by accounts, tax and secretarial assistants, they currently look after more than 80 GP Practices.

Deborah was instrumental in setting up the Association of Independent Specialist Medical Accountants (AISMA) in 1995. This network of independent accountancy firms throughout the UK specialises in services to the medical profession.

Moore and Smalley has a wealth of experience in dealing with the financial affairs of its medical clients. Our GP clients include both GMS and PMS, single-handers and large partnerships, dispensing practices and a number of their related businesses such as nursing homes and limited companies providing a variety of NHS and non-NHS services.

We also act for consultants, hospital doctors, registrars, trainers, locums, assistants and members of the Dental profession.

Recently the firm won the inauguaral HealthInvestor magazine Accountants of the Year award for our work for clients in the medical sector.
