An acquisition offers the chance of rewards and further development opportunities to the acquirer and their existing business. Anything which offers rewards will naturally bring risks, and due diligence is one way in which we can help to manage that risk.
Due diligence is a key process in any successful acquisition, and an area in which we have a high degree of skills and experience. We work together with our clients to identify key risks and hence to develop the scope of due diligence work.
Our team will focus on any significant potential issues which may become ‘dealbreakers’ and work with you and legal advisors to mitigate these issues. We are also able to involve other specialists in pensions and insurance, taxation and other commercial issues from within the firm or within our network of trusted contacts.
We can also offer due diligence services to vendors and funders such as private equity organisations and banks.
